Club News 14/1/2018

County Awards Night 13/1/2018:  Another great night for our club when we scooped the Club of the Year Award 2017, James Flavin winning the Underage Hurler of the Year Award 2017 and Tom Power Senior been Awarded the Hall of Fame Award for his role as player of the 1957 Waterford Football team who defeated the mighty Kerry.

The major success of our Junior Hurlers was the telling factor in been selected but a number of other factors were taken into consideration for example Scor ( John Supple National Judge), County Stewards (Jay Prendergast & Tom Cronin), Coaching at our National Schools ( Christopher Power), County team Involvement, Development of Club Grounds and having members being officers at County Boards level.

A packed Lawlors Hotel were their to cheer us on and many offered their best wishes to us in our road for All-Ireland success.

All-Ireland Semi-Final 21/1/2018: Preparations are in full swing and all team members are thankfully fully fit and rearing to go.  All under the managerial role of Tom Cronin and his selectors , Ardmore are ready for battle against Setanta of Donegal who we are told are serious contenders.

Social: Ardmore are holding their social this year in Lawlors Hotel on the 3rd March 2018. I am told tickets shall be on sale shortly at €30/hd.

Exspecting a hugh crowd as we are also honouring our Champions at Senior Football 1977 team.
